Procedures

Certification Report Review

After the exam is completed, the lead examiner and proctors submit the exam documents to the certification manager.
All such documents are reviewed by the certification manager, who verifies the signatures of the lead examiner and proctors to ensure the integrity of the documents.
The exam documents are then checked, and the scores earned by the candidates are entered into the documents.
After reviewing the documents, if the candidate has achieved the required score, the candidate’s detailed information will be forwarded to the documentation specialist for certificate preparation.

Certificate Issuance

After a satisfactory review, the certificate is approved by the certification manager. If any errors appear on the certificate, it is returned to the documentation specialist for correction.
The approved certificate is then issued to the certified individual based on the mailing address provided in the application. Before sending the physical certificate via express delivery, the certificate is first sent via email to the certified individual to verify personal details listed, avoiding any corrections later.
The conditions and terms for the use of the certificate, logo, and symbols are included with the certificate to ensure that the certified individual uses the certificate safely and properly.

Maintaining Certification

To ensure the certificate’s validity, the certificate is considered valid until the expiration date printed on it.
Certified individuals must ensure they meet the re-qualification requirements given in the terms and conditions for the use of the certificate, logo, and symbols.
Certified individuals are also required to complete reassessments and exams as scheduled. If necessary, certified individuals must visit Bao Fu for a health verification to continue complying with the relevant program’s requirements.

Recertification

The certificate has a limited validity of three years, and certified individuals must apply for recertification within 90 days before the current certificate expires.
Upon receiving the recertification application, the certification manager will schedule the recertification before the expiration date. Certified individuals must pass all inspection and assessment requirements of the certification program to be recertified.
Once the certified individual meets the recertification requirements, the process for preparing and issuing the certificate will proceed according to the details provided in the “Certificate Issuance” section.

Expanding and Reducing the Certification Scope

Requests to expand or reduce the certification scope are received from certified individuals. The same content is also detailed in the application form (F/CCS/01), which describes the expansion or reduction of the current certification scope.
The expansion or reduction request is reviewed by the certification manager.
For reductions in the certification scope, the certification manager will execute the reduction and prepare a new certificate to be issued to the certified individual. Depending on the reduction, the certification details will be updated in the certified individuals list.
In the case of expanding the certification scope, the certification manager will review the request and determine any further evaluation and exam requirements based on the certification program’s guidelines.
The certified individual will then be notified to participate in the evaluation and exam process and will receive a schedule for the assessment and exams.
Once the evaluation and exams are successfully completed, the certification of the individual will be modified to include new skills (as per the expansion), and the certificate will be issued according to the requirements mentioned in the “Certificate Issuance” section.
